Hello friends! I always get requests to share recipes and realized I haven’t shared this breakfast casserole recipe with you. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do.
Ingredients
1 bag of shredded hashbrown potatoes
6 eggs
1 lb of bacon
1 lb of ground sausage
1 packet of Pioneer Country Sausage Gravy
1 lb of shredded Cheddar cheese
Cooking Directions
Begin by cooking the bacon and sausage on the stove top. Once the bacon and sausage have finished cooking, use a 16×9 baking dish and line the bottom of the baking dish with the shredded hashbrowns.
Next, add the cooked ground sausage, spreading it evenly across the top of the shredded hashbrowns.
Continue building the casserole by crumbling the cooked bacon and half the shredded cheddar cheese.
Carefully mix ingredients in the baking dish. Follow the directions on the back of the Pioneer Country sausage gravy packet. Once complete, evenly pour gravy over the ingredients in the baking dish.
Break 6 eggs into a small mixing bowl and mix with a whisk. Once the eggs are mixed, pour the eggs over the top of the ingredients in the baking dish. Be sure to cover the entire baking dish with the egg.
Finally, add the rest of the cheddar cheese to the top of the baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until cheese is slightly browned. Remove from the oven and enjoy!
