Hey y’all! Ken and I decided to surprise our boys with a bedroom refresh while they were away visiting family in West Virginia. They would always ask us if they could get a nice, decorated room with decor like their big sis and we wanted to come through for them. We were so excited to surprise them and they were completely shocked when they finally saw their new room for the first time. Check out the before and after photos to see the change in our boys bedroom refresh.
Boys Bedroom Refresh
We’ll start with the before photo. Now, please take in to consideration, we sold the boys last beds before snapping this picture. I promise, we don’t make our kids sleep on mattresses on the floor. lol
We wanted to clear out the clutter for a clean, crisp look in the room. So, we moved the baskets of toys into the bottom of their closet and pulled out the cubicle we had in there to hold some of their clothes as you can see in the final photo below.
One of my favorite areas in their new room is the sitting/reading area. These chairs are super comfy and so nice to relax in. Our twins said they would make great gaming chairs too. 😉
The shelves behind the chairs hold their Disney Infinity characters and some of their favorite books. We found the awesome chairs at Walmart and I can’t say it enough about them, they are so comfy! The beautiful pouf, throw pillows, and rug are all from Boutique Rugs.
The big surprise was the three tier bunk beds. Sawyer was so excited to have a bed in the “big boys” room. We found the triple bunk bed on Wayfair as well and it is such great quality. The four square cubicle we already owned and then I bought the new gray bins at Target. I also found the tall olive tree on Amazon and the basket that its in is a HomeGoods find.
After we got the room all done, Ken put together the Hearth and Hand Tree House so the kids had a fun new toy to play with in their refreshed room. The Hearth and Hand toys are beautiful and such great quality. Our kids obviously loved their new tree house.
I hope you enjoyed seeing this transformation and it inspires you to refresh something in your home. 🙂 I’ll link all the items that I can for you below.
