Front Porch Clean and Style Refresh

Hey y’all!  I shared my recent front porch clean and style a few weeks ago on my Instagram.  Since then I have had many questions so I decided to do a blog post to make it easier for everyone to reference.  I’ll link everything I can below.

I started by first clearing all my decor off the porch.  Then Ken and I used his power washer to deep clean the concrete, door, siding, and even some of the furniture we had on the porch.  Our rocking chairs shined after we used the power washer to clean off the dirt.

Once it was all cleaned and dried, I began to place the furniture back on the porch.  I added my black and white pillows I picked up at Pier One last year to my rocking chairs.  I also added a new live fern I picked up from Walmart to my plant stand that sits between the rocking chairs and added a smaller fern to another Target planter next to our front door.

Then, I hung the fern wreath on the door with a black door hanger to match our front door and hung the welcome sign using my favorite permanent mounting tape.  The mounting tape has worked so well and it’s been up there since last year!

Lastly, Ken and I pulled the weeds from the flower bed and added a flower box with some faux plants.  I am loving how this turned out.   The front porch is now so clean and inviting.

Our welcome sign, plant stand, and rockers are older and no longer available but I’ll link some that I recommend.
