garlic and herb chicken legs

Garlic and Herb Chicken Recipe

I am sharing another air fryer recipe with y’all today.  Our kids are not fans of spicy food so when I make the buffalo wings I posted earlier today, I throw a few of these garlic and herb chicken legs in the air fryer as well.  We use chicken legs but you can do this with any chicken including wings or even grilled chicken breast.

Garlic and Herb Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 package chicken legs
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

The first step is to preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees F.  Then mix the olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

To ensure the chicken is completely covered, I like to pour the mixture into a ziplock bag, add the chicken, and shake.

Next, place the chicken into the air fryer and cook for 30 minutes, pausing every 10 minutes turn the legs.

Finally, once they are finished, pull them out and serve.  These chicken legs taste great and I know your family will love them!

If you decide to try this recipe with your family, please share and tag us on Instagram.  We’d love to know what you think!

Do you know if this can be made the same without an air fryer? Maybe baked in the oven? We don’t have space to store another small appliance, but the recipe sounds delicious!

I’m sure you can bake this recipe in the oven. The great thing about using the air fryer is it gives the chicken a nice crispy covering. If you try baking it, let us know if you like it.
